The difference is like night and day.
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd, Jack, is high-energy and high-strung. At 11 months we were ready to throw in the towel. After an ineffective “puppy class” of “positive reinforcement” (shovel treats in his mouth for everything), we contacted Greg.
At our initial session, Greg fitted Jack with a prong collar and ran him through a few basic moves. Within 10 minutes, Jack was sitting on command, mostly heeling, and grinning ear-to-ear. We knew we had found the right trainer, and time has proved us right.
Now halfway into our second set of classes, Jack is doing great with an e-collar and we are enjoying a much calmer - and more fun - dog. It’s hard work (hint - the dog is only half of it) but worth it - and Jack LOVES doing the work.
Greg has helped us unleash the great dog we already had but didn’t know what to do with. Jack and his owners are really getting “in the flow” thanks to Greg!

"I would highly recommend In the Flow K9 training with Greg. I had an extremely anxious and shy dog, she was also reactive on leash to other dogs and people because of her fears. Greg's step by step training helped me and my dog gain the confidence we needed. During the 6 sessions of Basic Obedience, I learned how to handle the leash and communicate with my dog. She learned how to walk by my side on leash; how to greet other dogs; … big gains for her. I learned how to help her with her anxiety with people, both at home and in the outside world. She is a much happier dog since having In the Flow K9 training. Greg is easy to communicate with, and has a great understanding of dogs and their behavior. He knows what the dog and handler need to be successful. Take the training! It's worth it".

Hey Greg! Just wanted to check in with you and say thanks. It’s been a while since I’ve had a training session with you but I still remember all you taught me and try to build on the “pillars” of the basics & socialization each day. Tatertot was a hot mess of reactivity and I just wanted to let you know that we’ve progressed together so far, to the point where we’re taking busy bus rides through Seattle downtown and able to keep focus and calm even where there’s other dogs on the bus. Tonight a woman asked me if Tatertot was a service dog “working” because of how well behaved
she was during our commute! Never thought we’d be here! Thank you so much for your wisdom :)
I’ll never forget that obedience = freedom.
